AS YOUR MAYOR, I will keep our bike lanes safe — and reserved for cyclists. If a vehicle has no pedals and can travel faster than 32 km/h, it belongs on the road, not in a bike lane. High-speed motorized vehicles should be licensed, regulated, and held to the same standards as everyone else. Bike lanes were built to protect cyclists, and that is exactly what they should do.

AS YOUR MAYOR, I will undertake the largest tree-planting initiative in Toronto’s modern history, while investing in the care and maintenance of the trees we already have. Less red tape, more cool shade. Trees make neighbourhoods healthier, greener, and more beautiful. They cool our streets during heat waves, improve air quality, absorb stormwater, and help prevent flooding. And because cities should nourish the spirit as well as the environment, let’s plant 10,000 lilac trees so Toronto smells as beautiful as it looks.

Promote Toronto’s Art Community
AS YOUR MAYOR, I will champion the arts. Great cities are defined not only by their skylines but by their culture. Toronto’s painters, musicians, writers, filmmakers, actors, illustrators, journalists, and performers tell our stories, challenge our thinking, and bring our communities together. We will create meaningful opportunities for artists to work with the city, contribute to public life, and earn a fair living while doing it. We will also expand affordable creative spaces through innovative public-private partnerships because a city that invests in culture invests in its future.

AS YOUR MAYOR, I will ensure roads and sidewalks are cleared of snow quickly, consistently, and fairly in every neighbourhood. Seniors, people with mobility challenges, and parents pushing strollers should never feel trapped in their homes because the city failed to do its job. Winter is inevitable. Poor snow removal is not.

A comprehensive approach to homelessness
AS YOUR MAYOR, I will take a practical and compassionate approach to homelessness. We need more affordable and supportive housing, and we need to make it faster and easier to build through smart zoning reforms and targeted incentives. Everyone deserves a safe place to call home. But homelessness is often about more than housing alone. Many people living on our streets are also struggling with mental illness, addiction, trauma, or other challenges that require treatment and support. We can be compassionate without accepting the status quo. We can help vulnerable people rebuild their lives while ensuring that parks, sidewalks, transit, and public spaces remain safe, clean, and accessible for everyone.
